Privacy Policy
Effective date: 31 October 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Navaque Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Navaque", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit navaque.com, send us an enquiry, or apply to join our consultant network.
Navaque is the data fiduciary (data controller) for the personal data described in this policy. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and — where they apply to you — other laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Personal data we collect
a) Business enquiries
When you use the enquiry form on our website, we collect your full name, work email address, company name, phone number (with country code), the service you are interested in, and the details of your requirement.
b) Consultant network applications
When you apply to join our consultant network, we collect:
- Identity and contact details: full name, email address, mobile number (with country code) and LinkedIn profile URL;
- Professional details: primary skill or technology, total experience, key skills or summary, current location, availability and preferred engagement type;
- Your resume or CV and any information it contains, such as education, employment history, certifications and other details you choose to include.
Please do not include sensitive information in your resume that is not needed for recruitment — for example government ID numbers, bank or financial details, health information, religion or caste.
c) Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting servers automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. When you submit an application, we also record the date, time and IP address of your consent. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How we use your personal data
We use personal data only for the purposes for which it was provided, including to:
- respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals and deliver our services;
- assess your profile for consultant, contract, full-time and project opportunities and contact you about them;
- present your profile to our clients and partners for suitable roles (see section 4);
- maintain our talent network and keep in touch about future opportunities;
- operate, secure and improve our website, and prevent spam, fraud and misuse;
- comply with legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and, where permitted by law, for legitimate uses such as complying with the law and responding to your own requests. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Sharing your data with third parties
If you apply to our consultant network, you agree that we may share your profile — including your resume, contact details and professional information — with third parties for recruitment, staffing and project-delivery purposes. These third parties include:
- Clients who are looking for consultants, developers or teams with your skills;
- Partners such as IT services and consulting companies we work with or subcontract to, and companies they work for;
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting and email providers, cloud storage, and professional advisers (for example accountants and lawyers), who process data on our behalf;
- Authorities, courts, regulators or law-enforcement agencies, where we are required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.
We share only the information reasonably needed for the purpose, and we expect recipients to keep it confidential and use it only for that purpose. Clients and partners who receive your profile may process it under their own privacy policies. We will generally discuss a specific opportunity with you before presenting your profile for it.
Enquiry data is not shared with clients or partners. It is shared only with our service providers and where required by law.
5. International transfers
Our clients, partners and service providers may be located in India or in other countries. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the one in which you live. Where we transfer personal data, we take reasonable steps to make sure it remains protected as required by applicable law, and we do not transfer it to any country where transfers are restricted by the Government of India.
6. How long we keep your data
- Consultant applications: kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Enquiries: kept for as long as needed to respond to and manage the business relationship, and then for up to 24 months.
- Records we must keep by law (for example contracts and invoices): kept for the period required by law.
When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
7. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our website, access controls and restricting access to people who need it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required by law.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to erase your personal data;
- withdraw your consent at any time — this will not affect processing already carried out, and we will stop sharing your profile with third parties going forward;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with us, and, if you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@navaque.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. Children
Our website and consultant network are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
